Paul writes I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always, in every prayer of mine, for you all, making my prayer with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Paul's gratitude for his friends and co-laborers in the gospel mirrors the bittersweet reflections Freyrin has about her own companions.

Similarly, freyrin's journey to remember her friends serves as a motivation for her to keep moving forward despite the loneliness that accompanies her. Her actions embody the essence of John 15, verse 13, where Jesus declares Greater love has no one than this that someone lay down his life for his friends. This verse captures the essence of sacrificial love, a love that Frerin learns to recognize and appreciate as she reflects on the sacrifices her old companions made for her.

This change in her perspective reflects the lesson found in Colossians 3, verse 17, which says and whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, the Father. Through Him. In our own lives, this means finding joy in the ordinary, recognizing that God is present in both grand adventures and the quiet, unremarkable days.

This verse highlights the idea that every individual brings something unique to the table, just as each of Frerin's companions, old and new, contributed to her story. In one memorable scene, frerin finds herself reflecting on a small, seemingly insignificant act of kindness carried out many years earlier by a friend. This moment becomes a catalyst for her to realize the depth of her friend's care, despite her lack of recognition at the time. This is similar to what Jesus teaches in Matthew, chapter 25, verses 34 to 40. Then the king will say to those on his right Come you, blessed by my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me. Jesus emphasizes that even the smallest deeds, when done out of love, have eternal significance, something Frerin learns as she recalls the small yet impactful gestures of friendship.

And hope does not put us to shame. Shame because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Just as Freyrin faces moments of sorrow and joy, we are encouraged to press on, knowing that our struggles are shaping us and deepening our trust in God.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Frerin's willingness to invest in the next generation reflects the call we have as Christians to pass on the faith and disciple others, ensuring that the truth continues to be shared.

I will put within you and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Frerin's evolving empathy, her newfound appreciation for others and her willingness to express gratitude show us that even the hardest of hearts can be softened by God's grace.

Even so, through Jesus, god will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep. Frerin's story illustrates the beauty of mourning with hope, remembering those we've lost while understanding that our faith provides a foundation for enduring even the deepest sorrow. The theme of hope is further illustrated as Frerin encounters younger characters who have their whole lives ahead of them.

In 2 Timothy, chapter 2, verse 2,. Mentorship and discipleship are central to the Christian faith, reminding us that we are not called to walk this journey alone. Freren's example demonstrates the significance of investing in the next generation, sharing the wisdom we've gained and encouraging others to grow in their understanding of life and faith. This kind of intentional relationship building reflects what is described in Hebrews 10, verses 24-25, which states and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Initially, she views herself as detached and above the concerns of ordinary people, due to her long life and powerful magic. However, as she walks with new companions and learns from them, her pride begins to fade and she embraces a more humble attitude. This is reminiscent of what Jesus teaches in Luke, chapter 14, verse 11, for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Freyrin's journey toward humility is a mirror of our own call to lay down our pride and approach others with a servant's heart. Humility is a trait that often goes against the grain of our culture, which prizes independence and self-reliance. Yet in Frarin's story we see how humility opens the door to deeper relationships and a greater appreciation for the people around her. It's a reminder that God's kingdom values humility over power and service over dominance.

For this light, momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory, beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen, for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. Frerin's experiences remind us that God is at work, even in the midst of pain and uncertainty.

Though she initially set out to be alone, believing that isolation was easier, her experiences gradually show her the truth of Ecclesiastes, chapter 4, verse 12, which says and though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him. A threefold cord is not quickly broken. This verse emphasizes the strength found in unity, and Freyrin's story echoes this truth as she learns that community and fellowship are far more valuable than a solitary journey. As Freyrin's adventure continues, we witness her grappling with the challenges of faithfulness, staying true to her memories, her companions and her calling. This commitment to faithfulness reflects what Jesus speaks of in Matthew, chapter 25, verse 21, where he commends well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little. I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.

This is beautifully illustrated in Matthew 5, verse 9, where Jesus says Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Frerin's journey, filled with both conflict and resolution, encourages us to pursue peace in our relationships and to be agents of reconciliation in a divided world.

Freran's choice to remember and honor her past reflects our call to remember God's faithfulness in our own lives, never forgetting the ways he has provided for and guided us.
